Welcome to the Rosefolk! We are a dynamic and open group focusing on spiritual practice and theory, providing a free forum for discussion and learning. We have members from a wide range of different spiritual paths and schools of thought, and completely free and honest discussion is encouraged.&nbsp;
Our biggest focus is spiritual science and anthroposophy, incorporating the scientific method into our spirituality to avoid falsehoods and to gain a more concrete understanding of the physical and spiritual worlds. Our focus also includes research and use of insights from the relatively unknown philosopher, Rudolf Steiner. While this is an aspect of our focus, we are not shackled to it or elitist about it in any way, shape or form. Each individual has their own path and if the world wants to move forward, we have to honour that and help people along with what they need to do.
We have no dogma or doctrine to push, and people are encouraged to follow, learn, develop, and discuss in freedom to fulfil the two main goals of the Rosefolk; changing individuals and changing the world.
The team is a (while this may seem cheesy, it&rsquo;s still true) diverse and international group with different physical and spiritual backgrounds. They work to run events, promote the events, and work make the folk a better group to be in. The team is open to all who genuinely wish to help out, and as the community grows the team will too.
Another one of our goals (you can read about our goals at Rosefolk.xyz) is to dispel the myths and falsehoods surrounding anthroposophy and spirituality in general to the public. Baseless accusations of racism, dogmatism and an evil secret group of people who control all the anthroposophical organisations are strewn around, and they are much harder to fight than they are to make. We intend to address these allegations properly, so we (and the movement in general) can progress forward without this hollow &ldquo;monster&rdquo; looming over us.
Alongside the discussion aspect, we also hold many regular events, and hope to do more in the future. These events, mostly over voice, are book clubs, groups for beginners, community discussions and more. There are at least two events a week, sometimes more, and everyone, regardless of skill, belief, or any other factor is welcome to join as long as they have a reverence for what is being discussed.
Nobody is expected to simply start believing or doing what is discussed in the events, those who come are encouraged to take the ideas, think them over, compare them to life experiences and past/current beliefs and then come to a sound conclusion for them. Unfortunately, this work is something you have to do yourself in freedom and can&rsquo;t just be prescribed and given by someone, as easy as that might be.
