Why The search engine market in 2022 is, like the previous years, dominated by Google. Behind, with over 30 times less market share, sits bing and on third place yahoo. Bing is boosting its market share by providing search results to Yahoo and DuckDuckGo uses among others Google as its information source. But why is that a problem? Just two companies dominate 97% of the search market, and with such a high share, a lot can go wrong. It is not a secret that both use your information: what you like or don't like to their advantage.
