The Courier who cheated death did not live to see the future of the Mojave Wasteland. He nuked both the Legion and NCR from the Divide, succeeded with Yes Man in driving out the NCR after the Legion's defeat. Yet he died with his servile robot left to take over in his wake. Since then the Mojave has had some peace, the rival factions that once had a strong grip over New Vegas have been demoralized, defeated, and unable to try again. But without the Courier's vision, not much progress was made for New Vegas either. Instead, the Mojave has become nothing more than a collection of balkanized factions mingling about and competing for small bits of land.
