Forty-two years ago, The Tessellation cracked our physics and exposed mythics&mdash;anthropomorphic beings from legend who had lived among us in secret. Their magic (and a small cohort of gifted humans called the Tuned) possess the abilities to crack the crystalline invaders, while most digital tech fails and misfires under the new resonance. Cities shifted from digital to analog to combat the crystalline entities that broke down modern tech. In Omega (a &ldquo;new New York&rdquo;), the Federal Arcanum Commission (FAC) regulates magic and battles Orth incursions with elite teams like Section Grey. Megacorps sell &ldquo;Certified Safe Geometry&trade;," cultists and criminals lurk in the shadows of the skyscrapers, and an AI built as a last ditch effort researches a panacea to keep reality from locking up.&nbsp; 
⛥𝘾𝙮𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙥𝙪𝙣𝙠 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝟴𝟬'𝙨&nbsp; Neon Tessellation is a twist on the Cyberpunk genre that takes it back to its roots while maintaining a distinct flavor on its own; and providing a setting to allow for creative freedom. In this universe, society had a strong digital age, gaining access to high-end touchscreens, cloud-computing, AI, as well as artificial limbs and physical enhancements. After one fateful day, the laws of physics were forever changed and the thin veil protecting our universe from one of pure sound and geometry were broken. Creatures of folklore revealed themselves in defense of the dimension alongside modern militaries and technology broke down in mere days as modern processors collapsed. Over time, humanity rebuilt, culturally and technologically. Play as part of a militaristic government agency dedicated to preventing future incursions; and anyone who uses extradimensional abilities for harm.&nbsp;

Choose to be a mythic; mythological creatures that hid alongside humanity for centuries as part of human mythos, legends, and folkore.&nbsp;
Or, play as the tuned or Dayborn; humans who have gained powers akin to the mythics after close encounters with the crystalline Orthos; harnessing abilities that seep into the Else's power, granting them magical abilities.

► A Mature, Futuristic Setting Your story takes place in a megacity- allowing for many urban scenarios to occur both as an acting agent of the FAC and during any cover scenarios. Both SFW and NSFW themes are allowed, although all public channels and events are SFW. (Rooms are considered private.)
►Sprawling, Persistent Events We will create events where groups of role-players work as a team with guidance of a worldbuilder to both shape an event, defeat a significant foe and overcome a trial together. The outcome of each event is saved and recorded.&nbsp;
►Tracked Skills Every skill learned is gained by roleplay itself and shaped by players. My goal is to make your experience one where your character develops and becomes stronger over time.&nbsp;
►Persistent Storyline The world is ever changing, and I already have multiple events planned for you. As decisions are made they will influence future events and story arcs for the FAC and the city of Omega as a whole.&nbsp;
