Progressive Mens Advocacy is a diverse but relatively small umbrella of leftists, humanitarians, gender egalitarians, anti-traditionalists, radicals, progressives and other gender dissidents that would like to rectify structural inequalities or rights issues primarily affecting men on the global level.&nbsp;

- We are distinct from the mainstream &lsquo;Mens Rights&rsquo; Movement, which uses the issues we care about for their reactionary political purposes. This server is not &ldquo;for MRAs&rdquo;, but those who actually believe in the core issues.
- We are distinct from the mainstream &lsquo;Mens Liberation&rsquo; Movement for similar reasons. We do not want to impose ideological frameworks on members because we value diversity.
- Leftist &amp; Pro-LGBT. Our membership consists of socialists, socdems, anarchists, liberals, feminists, TRAs and communists. Radical perspectives are needed to solve mens issues. We DO NOT want TERFs! Sorry, not sorry.
- Egalitarianism is required. We demand that you believe in and desire gender equality. Non-egalitarians have no business anywhere near mens advocacy.
- Academic environment. We strive to be a place of learning. Our server is a place to share studies and analyse issues in great depth and create long informative posts. We promote a wide range of interests including: natural sciences, social sciences, philosophy and history. Many of our members are students.
- Strict with moderation. Good faith thoughtful discussion is expected.
- NOT a dating / relationships server! If you have come to grumble about dating, this space is not for you.
