I made this server for adults to find each other to roleplay with, people who have years of experience under their belt and who know how the world, and the human body work. This server isn't strictly for ERP but there are many adult themes that happen here either way, and in America you have to be 21 to engage in drinking and smoking so we might as well wrap that up in a nice little bun.
There were so many people in the comment sections of my RP tiktoks that I just kinda felt like someone had to make a discord server. This is a strictly literate RP server, and you will need to submit writing so we can be sure you fit the bill. Please do not take it personally if we reject you, we are trying to keep a standard up in here which is the whole reason I made this server. There are plenty of other RP servers out there, but this one is strictly for literate, and advanced roleplaying, it is not a place for us to hold the hands of baby writers and teach them out to RP. Thank you for your understanding.
Our rules should be easy enough to follow. You get one warning for breaking the rules, and if you do it again you&rsquo;re out. You will learn the hard way that I am NOT a merciful admin.

1. No Hate Speech of any kind. 2. This is a 21+ server and we will need you to verify your age. How to do so is answered in the FAQ's. 3. Do not go into someone&rsquo;s DMs unprompted, UNLESS they have the DMs Open role&nbsp; 4. Filling out the intro post is NECESSARY. Other questions about the intro prompt are answered in the FAQ's. 5. Make sure to use the right channels for things.&nbsp;
6. NO TRAUMA DUMPING 7. Don&rsquo;t cause drama. No political, racial, link sharing to stories etc.. We can and will give warnings and remove messages as we see fit. No tolerance. 8. Don&rsquo;t instigate people. 9. Use common sense. If it seems like an asshole move don&rsquo;t do it. Simple as that. 10. This is ORIGINAL CHARACTERS ONLY. We do not do fandom RPs in server but if you want to do one-on-one in DMs thats your business, but please do not advertise which fandoms you are in because this isn't a fandom-friendly server. (Not saying we don't like fandom RPs, but this in an OC server.)&nbsp;
11. DO NOT ADVERTISE YOUR OWN SERVER IN THIS ONE. It is incredibly rude and is a banable offense. (This includes, twitch, YouTube, streaming, etc..) 12. I know I said no Hate Speech, but to expand on that we do not accept bigotry of ANY kind. No homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism - it isn't allowed. This rule is the only one where if you break it once, you're out. We do not give warnings to bigots and TERFs. 13. This is a literate roleplay server. Your audition will give me a feel for your writing ability, and if I don't think it holds up to our standards I will give you a chance to re-write it, and if you don't want to or it isn't in your ability I will kick you. Nothing personal, I just have strict standards. 14. ALWAYS CHECK PINS 15. Check the FAQ before asking any questions.
16. Keep in mind we have many peoples from various regions, languages, cultures and backgrounds. 17. Please keep things to English language only, this way more people can communicate and understand everything. We know other people can understand other languages, here though, English is the form of communication. 18. If anything comes up as disrespectful to another peoples, do not continue the conversation. DM a mod, or open a ticket. do not instigate the situation. 19. We understand that something to one person might not be a big deal to another, however cultural appropriation will not be allowed. 20. Please be mindful about folklore, cryptids, cultural beings and the like. Just because one person is okay with things being said does not mean everyone is. No we are not children here, but we will be respectful. Use censors when in doubt. 21. DO NOT MESSAGE OR SEND FRIEND REQUESTS TO THE SERVER OWNER UNLESS THEY HAVE STATED OTHERWISE. 22. First you need to send us age verification. Do not DM anymore for age verification, we have started this ticket system to stream line the process.
After you are age verified you may add you audition, and once you have been accepted you can access the 1x1 channels, and the NSFW channels. It is a process, and it is so because we only want people who are dedicated and who read the rules AND the FAQ.
This is an advanced roleplaying server and if you can&rsquo;t do the bare minimum of reading the rules, giving yourself roles, writing an intro and checking for pins, that shows us that you are not only not good at following directions but also you are not at the level in which we want for our server.
It is nothing against you personally, so don&rsquo;t take it that way. Cosmic made this server specifically for folks like us - veteran RP&rsquo;ers from the internet forum glory days. People who started on Neopets, Gaia, LiveJournal, Imvu, etc etc etc.
We are not going to hold your hand through the verification process, if you can&rsquo;t figure it out you need to leave. It&rsquo;s very, very simple and if you can&rsquo;t follow simple instructions, again, you shouldn&rsquo;t be here. Cosmic made the process very streamlined, and if you aren&rsquo;t patient enough for a staff member to assist you, you aren&rsquo;t patient enough to RP.

The Cosmos is an adults-only [21+] RP server born from tiktok. It's a hub for finding 1x1 RP partners. There is no standing lore of the server. Outside of the RP channels it's mostly a social server.
